This week scared me going in, as I stated in the TexAgs Radio pregame show last Friday. My concern was back-to-back emotional games against Texas Tech and Baylor; both in-state rivalries had me concerned that a letdown in focus and sharpness was possible. Let me share a football secret ... players do get emotionally tired, and not getting up for a game against a lesser opponent in Ames, Iowa is not only possible but highly probable.
