Unanswered three-pointers too much for Aggies in 92-81 loss to Bulldogs

The Aggies ended regular season play Saturday losing to Mississippi State in Starkville, unable to recover from a 46-34 halftime deficit and a barrage of State three-pointers. A&m now turns its attention to Vanderbilt, who they will face in the first round of the SEC Tournament on Wednesday.

As has often been the case during this frustrating season, Texas A&M was routinely victimized at the 3-point line as the Aggies ended Southeastern Conference regular season basketball play with a 92-81 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday in Starkville.

The Aggies (13-17, 6-12) next face Vanderbilt on Wednesday night in Nashville in the first round of the SEC post season tournament.

A&M, which has surrendered the most 3-point goals in the SEC, allowed 16 treys.
