As has often been the case during this frustrating season, Texas A&M was routinely victimized at the 3-point line as the Aggies ended Southeastern Conference regular season basketball play with a 92-81 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday in Starkville.

The Aggies (13-17, 6-12) next face Vanderbilt on Wednesday night in Nashville in the first round of the SEC post season tournament.

A&M, which has surrendered the most 3-point goals in the SEC, allowed 16 treys. The Aggies were especially buried by a barrage of Bulldogs’ baskets behind the arc in the half.
