Slow start too much to overcome for Aggies in loss to No. 13 LSU, 66-55

A disastrous first half was too much to overcome as Texas A&M suffered a 66-55 Southeastern Conference basketball loss to No. 13 LSU on Tuesday night in Baton Rouge.

The Aggies (12-15, 5-10) went nearly five minutes without scoring during a decisive 12-0 LSU run that spurred the Tigers (23-5, 13-2) to a 36-20 halftime lead.

The Aggies, who had won four of their previous five games, could get no closer than nine points in the second half.
