Billy Kennedy recaps the loss to LSU, Josh Nebo's strong play in the paint

January 31, 2019

Key notes from the Billy Kennedy interview

  • Defensively, we've been better. We held LSU to 37% from the field and they only scored 72 points, while averaging 89 per game. Our zone has been good, and we've been more active, but we didn't rebound as well as we needed to against LSU. Second chance points hurt us.
  • I knew that it was a five to 10 point game against LSU, and I thought that if we could keep it at that, we could manufacture some points late at home  Wendell Mitchell couldn't get very many good looks.
