Strong night from the perimeter can't propel Aggies past No. 18 Kentucky

A good shooting night for Texas A&M turned bad at the worst possible time on Tuesday night as the Aggies fell 85-74 to No. 18 Kentucky in a Southeastern Conference basketball clash in Lexington.

The Aggies (6-7, 0-2) trailed just 69-66 after a Savion Flagg jumper with 6:19 remaining. But A&M converted just two of its last 10 field goal attempts — the last a half-court 3-pointer from Flagg at the buzzer — to suffer a third straight setback.
