One-on-One: Sean Porter gives 'State of Defense' address

Billy Liucci: You got the first couple games out of the way. How would you grade the defensive performance on Saturday night? You guys held them to 70 yards through three quarters, four first downs and pitched a shutout. Had to be pretty pleased with y'all's performance.
Sean Porter: "Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with the performance, but we needed to do that. We were supposed to go out there and be dominant. That was a good thing for us. It was good to go out there and do what we're supposed to do.
