Last weekend, the Texas Aggie hoops staff kicked off the fall official visit season for NCAA basketball by hosting a pair of four-star prospects. One was Baton Rouge native Tyreek Smith‍, a long-armed forward now residing in Cedar Hill playing for Trinity Christian High School. As reported by TexAgs' Logan Lee and Smith via Twitter on Wednesday, the 6-foot-9 shot blocking forward became the latest verbal commit in a 2019 class of three at the moment.

The first A&M commit in the 2019 class, point guard Sahvir Wheeler‍, was the second recruit on the Texas A&M campus last week for his official visit.
