Short-handed Aggies escape from Northern Kentucky, 64-58

Just when it appeared Northern Kentucky might steal a win, No. 8 Texas A&M did some stealing of its own.

D.J. Hogg and Savion Flagg made clutch steals in the final minute to protect precarious leads and enable the short-handed Aggies to capture a hard-fought, 64-58 college basketball victory Tuesday night at Reed Arena.

Tyler Davis also scored a big dunk on a floor-length in-bounds pass, and the Aggies (10-1) hit four key free throws down the stretch to post their third straight win.
