Texas A&M Basketball

Aggies get hot from beyond the arc, light up Savannah State, 113-66

December 13, 2017

Had Texas A&M marketed Wednesday night’s basketball game with Savannah State as “Trey-a-palooza” maybe Reed Arena would have sold out.

Imagine the possibilities: Three Musketeer bars distributed to the first 1,000 in the arena. Perhaps offer a three-bean salad as a healthier option.

Instead, the announced crowd of 6,339 at Reed Arena was merely treated to a three-point shooting extravaganza as A&M (9-1) set a school record for three-pointers taken (38) and converted (16) in a 113-66 A&M victory.
