Volleyball sophomore Hollann Hans talks development, coming to A&M

On the development process for the young team…

I think that we have grown a lot this season. We’ve had our ups and downs, but we’ve really come together as a team and worked on building relationships on and off the court. I think that we are growing a lot as a team and we are just going to get better.

On the growth of younger players…

Yes, I have seen a lot of growth from the freshmen. They’ve done a great job coming in and showing a lot of leadership and putting in a lot of hard work. We have four players leaving so we are going to get a lot back and I’m looking forward to working with these girls my last two years here.

On thy she decided to come to Texas A&M…

Well, I grew up an Aggie so from the beginning my parents raised me and my sister as Aggies. I’ve just always wanted to come here since I was little, so once I got an offer it was a really easy decision.

On what the future of this team looks like…

I think that we have a lot of returners coming back next season and a lot of great freshmen coming in early in the spring. I’m really looking excited for the next two years, but we have seven games left this season and just looking to get better and win some games.
