SEC Round-Up: Rising Mississippi State faces second test in Georgia

Scaling the first wall of an obstacle course is certainly an impressive accomplishment, but often that just means more difficult obstacles await.

That’s definitely the case for the nation’s fastest-rising college football team.

No. 17 Mississippi State, which opened the season unranked, cleared its first major obstacle in last week’s 37-7 thumping of LSU. The next is No. 11 Georgia. That game should help determine if Mississippi State is really that good or LSU was that bad.
