• Playing against a Southland foe that allowed 35 points to McNeese State in the season-opener, the Aggies managed just two touchdowns until midway through the fourth quarter on Saturday night and finished the game with 24 points, tying the second-lowest point total produced by A&M since the start of last season (the Ags scored 14 at Alabama last fall and, ironically enough, 24 in a November win over UTSA).
