Longtime priority Aggie defensive end target Max Wright has officially made his commitment to Texas A&M. The Katy Taylor product chose the Aggies over Texas, Georgia, Stanford and Alabama, among others.

Wright's relationship with Terry Price and his affinity for the atmosphere in College Station were two of the big determining factors in his decision. Max's elite athleticism and high motor have landed him as our No. 5 overall player in Texas and top-ranked defensive lineman.

The 6-4, 265-pounder is the first defensive end commitment for Kevin Sumlin and the Aggies in the 2018 class and the second pledge along the defensive line, joining Aldine Davis DT Dominic Livingston.

You can view his junior year highlights below, and TexAgs subscribers can hear why Wright chose A&M in his post-commitment interview.
