Nick Ramirez impressed by the Aggies

The out of state linebacker has ties to the Aggies through his uncle, Jeff Schmahl, the Senior Associate Athletic Director of External Operations in the A&M athletic department. Ramirez has traveled to College Station and talked with the A&M coaching staff a handful of times in the past, but never as a legitimate recruit. The 6'1, 228-pounder was an average football player until the 2010 season.
