  • The conference tournament to me is something that’s awesome to get excited about because you can see some great basketball. It takes me back to 1987 when we were the last seed and beat everybody to make it to the championship. We then beat Baylor on ESPN to go play Duke in the NCAA Tournament. There’s nobody who could handle a situation like that better than Shelby Metcalf, as far as coming off the wall with something and enjoying the moment.
