Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy linebacker Santino Marchiol committed to Texas A&M on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 and chose the Aggies over finalists Tennessee and Ole Miss. Defensive coordinator John Chavis led the Aggies’ recruiting efforts, but Marchiol also has lifelong ties to offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone.

He began his high school career as a freshman at Greenwood Village (Colo.) Cherry Creek before transferring to IMG Academy for his senior season.
