The Aggies have gone to fourth.
Now, they need to multiply.
Quite a stir was caused when Texas A&M (7-1, 4-1 in the Southeastern Conference) was picked fourth in the initial College Football Playoff rankings last Tuesday.
Most of the national media seemed to feel the Aggies were unjustly ranked ahead of unbeaten Washington, even though A&M has played a significantly more challenging schedule.
That debate isn’t likely to end anytime soon.
