The Chief Factor: Can John Chavis deliver a Music City Bowl win?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Perhaps it is appropriate that Texas A&M is in the Music City Bowl because this football season has played out like a country song.

There were good times. There were bad times. Ultimately, the Aggies were among friends in low places — fifth place in the SEC West, to be exact.

However, the Aggies may leave Nissan Stadium on Wednesday night whistling a happier tune. If they are, they can thank John Chavis.
