NASHVILLE — Kyle Allen had a strong showing in his return as the starting quarterback, but still was upstaged by kicker Taylor Bertolet and the Texas A&M defense.

Bertolet tied a Southeastern Conference and A&M record with six field goals and the Aggies (8-3, 4-3) posted their first shutout since 2004 in a 25-0 SEC football victory over Vanderbilt (4-7, 2-5) on Saturday night.
