OXFORD, Miss. — That thud you heard was the sound of Texas A&M’s offense hitting rock bottom.
Seriously, the offensive ineptitude demonstrated in A&M’s 23-3 Southeastern Conference football loss to Ole Miss on Saturday night was the Aggies’ worst showing since Kevin Sumlin took over as coach in 2012.
Go ahead and argue that last year’s 59-0 debacle at Alabama was even more disastrous. It wasn’t.
