Football Recruiting: 2017 Waco La Vega TE Kedrick James

The 6-4, 245 pound James committed to Baylor back in July after visiting several schools earlier in the summer, including Texas A&M, Texas and TCU.

By that point James had already reeled in offers from all over the country — Arkansas, Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma and Tennessee, among others. He's widely regarded as the second-best 2017 tight end prospect in Texas for behind Cy-Fair mauler Brock Wright.

Three months after his Baylor pledge, the Aggies continue to actively recruit James, who was their second tight end offer in the '17 class.
