On Saturday, 16th-ranked Texas A&M did what most of
the current top 25 has done at one point or another during the first
three weeks of the season.
Playing at home against an inferior foe, the Aggies played a pretty sloppy football game.
Ohio State wasn't immune to it, narrowly escaping a Northern Illinois upset bid on Saturday; we all know about Arkansas-Toledo and Auburn-Jacksonville State the week before. Frankly, Power Five conference teams being pushed by 'mid-majors' — to varying degrees, of course — has been a bit of an epidemic this September.
