Throughout the offseason much was made as to how the A&M offense
would be altered with the addition of Dave Christensen as offensive line
coach and run game coordinator. As I settled into my seat in NRG
Stadium for week one vs. Arizona State, I was pumped to see even the most
subtle changes.
Three and a half hours later, I had the same reaction as after watching the last episode of The Sopranos.
“That’s it?!”
In all honesty, I wasn’t disappointed in the run game production, but, on the surface, there was little variation in the run scheme as opposed to the previous three seasons under Kevin Sumlin in Aggieland.
