The 6-2, 240-pound Houston area defender was one of the first in-state linebackers the Texas A&M football program offered out of the 2016 recruiting class. The Aggies later landed Tennessee product Tyrel Dodson in June — putting Jackson and A&M's chances in jeopardy as Dodson also projects inside.From that point until last weekend it was hard to imagine Jackson in an Aggie uniform.
