When projecting trying to predict the 2015 fortunes of Texas A&M Football, thoughts turn to Winston.
Churchill, not Jameis.
If Winston Churchill were a college football prognosticator he would likely describe the Aggies much like he did Russia in 1939 and say: “A&M is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.”
There is undeniably a mysterious aura surrounding the Aggies as they begin August camp Monday. That’s why some preseason polls list them among the nation’s top 20 and others have them unranked. The SEC media picked A&M to finish sixth in the preseason poll, yet Kevin Sumlin gushes that he’s more enthusiastic about this team than most he’s coached.
