Quarterback: Do I even need to elaborate? Kyle Allen vs. Kyler
Murray in what might be the most fascinating fall camp quarterback
battle this side of Columbus, Ohio.
Though Allen will open fall camp getting the majority of the first-team reps, Kevin Sumlin and Jake Spavital plan to give Murray every chance to compete for the coveted starting job. Both quarterbacks have been dialed in this summer, with Murray doing everything he can to close the experience gap by absorbing the offensive scheme like a sponge.
As has been Sumlin's M.O. during each of the first two quarterback competitions he's presided over in Aggieland, expect a decision sometime 10 to 14 practices into camp, which makes hitting the ground running a must for both five-star signal-callers.
