Texas A&M is in the process of addressing a major need at corner in the 2016 class with two prospects already on board (Travon Fuller and Charles Oliver). In the meantime, the Aggies are also scouring the state for elite 2017 cover corners and appear close to extending their first offer at the position to Chevin Calloway.

This shouldn't serve as a surprise as Calloway is highly coveted already with offers from Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan, UCLA and Baylor, among others. In fact, Calloway is a strong early candidate to be considered the state's top overall corner in the 2017 cycle.
