Postscript: On LSU, what we learned & necessary changes

Pending a bowl, Texas A&M's 2014 season is over and few know what exactly to make of it. If anything, the Aggies' finish to the season should be more encouraging than you think — but there's a road left to follow.

For the second straight week, the Aggies fell behind by two scores and it looked for all the world like the visitors had put A&M away by the end of the third quarter. Just like they did against Missouri, however, the Ags responded, rallied and nearly pulled off a two-TD, fourth-quarter comeback.

Unfortunately, the outcome against LSU was the same as it was against Missouri: an agonizing defeat.
