DALLAS — Kenny Hill and Kyle Allen threw touchdown passes and Texas A&M’s pass rush swarmed SMU quarterbacks as the No. 6 Aggies remained undefeated and romped to a predictable 58-6 college football victory on Saturday afternoon.
Hill, who passed for 265 yards, picked up 100 on two scoring tosses. He connected with Jeremy Tabuyo for a 30-yard touchdown and Josh Reynolds for a 70-yard TD. Tabuyo also turned a short pass from Allen into a weaving 50-yard touchdown.
Trey Williams, Brandon Williams and James White also rushed for touchdowns.
Rising: The Aggies' depth and outlook is improving with several players returning from injury. Washington made his first appearance after returning from a broken collarbone; he posted two sacks. Also, cornerback De’Vante Harris made his debut after sitting out the first three games with a urinary tract injury. Also, tight end Cam Clear and middle linebacker Jordan Mastrogiovanni returned from injuries to make brief appearances.
Falling: SMU quarterbacks Kolney Cassel and Garrett Krstich were frequently falling in the face of the A&M pass rush that produced eight sacks for 28 yards lost. That matched the Aggies’ highest sack total under coach Kevin Sumlin. A&M posted eight sacks against Florida in the 2012 season-opener — Sumlin’s first game as A&M’s coach.
Best hit: Midway through the fourth quarter SMU was deep in A&M’s end of the field when Krstich found a hole in the A&M pass rush and made a dash for the goal line. He made to the five-yard line before he was met head on by Aggies freshman linebacker Otaro Alaka. Alaka delivered a hit that stopped Krstich in his tracks, then lifted the quarterback up and planted him on the turf.
Best hands: Sophomore walk-on receiver Boone Neiderhofer was closely covered by SMU safety Darrion Richardson on a sideline route early in the third quarter. A high pass from Allen seemed to have little chance of being completed, but Neiderhofer leaped high and reached over Richardson to pull in the pass for a 17-yard gain. The circus catch was the highlight of a very productive day for Neiderhofer. He caught six passes for 73 yards.
Turning point: The Aggie offense wasn’t running smoothly in the early going. A&M settled for a field goal on the first series and Hill threw an interception on the second. Then, the Aggies gained just one yard on the first play of the third possession. However, on second down Hill bolted 58 yards after apparently failing to execute a handoff to Trey Williams. That jump-started the offense. Two plays later, A&M got its first touchdown on a Williams’ eight-yard run. A&M scored touchdowns on its next four series to take a 38-3 lead.
A&M: Josh Lambo 39-yard FG. Key play: Malcome Kennedy 38-yard pass from Kenny Hill. A&M 3, SMU 0
A&M: Trey Williams 8-yard run (Lambo kick). Key play: Hill 58-yard run. A&M 10, SMU 0

Standing 'O': Reynolds has only caught three passes in the past two games, but all three have gone for touchdowns. Reynolds hauled in a 70-yard touchdown pass from Hill just 13 seconds before halftime. He caught a 48-yard touchdown pass and a 20-yard touchdown pass last week against Rice.Scoring summary
