Noil was hurt in last week’s win over Rice and will miss this week’s game against SMU. Some unconfirmed reports stated he could be sidelined for as many as five weeks.

Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin indicated that may not be the case, though.

“Speedy will probably not play this weekend,” Sumlin said Tuesday at his weekly press conference.
