Overall Thoughts:
  • Took some lumps as a true freshman last year and looked lost out there most of the time.
  • Duke game was the lowest of lows (first half) and the highest of highs (second half).
  • Mastro's play in Chick-fil-A Bowl was microcosm of how entire A&M defense played in that game.
  • Just about as poor as it could get in the first half of the Chick-fil-A bowl, but made adjustments, gained confidence and made plays with greater consistency in second half.
