Fight or Flight: Run defense A&M's primary concern

Opposing defenses couldn’t stop Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel — they could only hope to contain him.
Unfortunately, for the Aggies the same cliché applied to their run defense. They couldn’t stop opposing running games, they could only hope to contain them.
Quite frankly, they never did.
Last year the Aggies ranked 110th in the nation in run defense while running back after running back enjoyed statistical bonanzas against A&M.
Yardage? Heck, A&M’s opponents seemed to be gaining acreage.
