Even before a stellar combine performance in which the 5-10, 190-pound all-purpose back received an invite to the prestigious Opening held in Oregon, it was safe to say the electric talent from Destrehan is no longer under the radar. While some schools — headlined by A&M, Florida, Nebraska and Notre Dame — were quick to the punch in extending an offer, Merritt now seems destined to see his offer list rise considerably.
