1. The Aggies put on their best performance yet. This is the first game of the season in which A&M came out and handled its business and controlled the game from the start to the time Billy Kennedy began subbing at the end. Both teams struggled to score at the beginning of the game — and really, throughout the first half — but the Aggies went into the locker room with a nine point lead and held their opponent to half the points it usually scores.
