Texas A&M’s beleaguered defense suffered another blow Tuesday afternoon when Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin announced senior nose guard Kirby Ennis would miss the remainder of the season.
Ennis tore an anterior cruciate ligament in his knee during the Aggies’ 45-33 victory over Arkansas on Sept. 28. The injury will require season-ending surgery.
“Kirby is going to have surgery and he will be done for the year,” Sumlin said. “He had an ACL tear.
