SEC Post-Spring Review: Vanderbilt Commodores

According to the American Human Development Project, the average life expectancy in the state of Tennessee is 76.2 years.

Therefore, in 2012 Vanderbilt had, quite literally, a once-in-a-lifetime football season.

The Commodores, longtime punching bags for Southeastern Conference heavyweights, posted nine victories last year. That was Vanderbilt’s greatest win total since a 9-1 finish in 1915 — a span of 97 years.
