College football's best player only got better and better as the 2012 season progressed. With an offseason of work, how good can he be in 2013? Texas A&M's only concern appears to lie in deciding on his backup.

A scary thought for teams on Texas A&M’s football schedule is that Heisman-winning quarterback Johnny Manziel, who rushed for 1,409 yards and passed for 3,706 in 2012, is back again.

Here’s a scarier thought: Manziel got better as the season progressed last season. He passed for at least 253 yards in each of the final eight games. He also threw 12 touchdown passes and only three interceptions over the final six games. And Manziel completed at least 64.
