Received one interesting phone call this morning on College of the Canyons DE Dorian Gerald then got the info confirmed from another phone call 5 minutes later.I'm told now that Florida has no plans of taking Gerald. They signed Malik Langham unexpectedly from Alabama which essentially was the spot they were holding for Dorian. I'm told with 2019 looking like a much smaller class for the Gators, Dan Mullen and staff feel like the scholarship is best saved for next cycle. Continuing, a source spoke directly to Dorian on Tuesday evening, and, at that time, the choice was going to be Florida.Pretty big development here. The team to fend off now is Arkansas who's made as furious a push as possible down the stretch. My sources both indicated to me that they felt the Aggies were the leaders, but the job still had to be finished.**** 8:30 pm update ****After going through most of the day VERY confident that Texas A&M would sign JUCO DE Dorian Gerald, I've received reports tonight that jive with what is on Twitter. The same source that told me that Florida was no longer a player for Gerald earlier in the day just indicated to me a few minutes ago that members of the Florida coaching staff were expecting him to choose Arkansas tomorrow. In fact, my source believed that Gerald had told them that directly. There's also a growing swell of confidence in Fayetteville at this hour. On the A&M front, I do know that Terry Price and Mike Elko are still doing what they can going into the final day. Pretty strange 180 within about 10 hours on this one. Like I said, I was very confident this one would fall the Aggies way after lunchtime today.
