When you're dealing with a group this large and star studded, it's always difficult to gauge who's really going to be in town once Saturday rolls around. We'll pin this all week so keep checking back in to see the alterations. I'm sure Jason will come in with confirmations or non-confirmations from DFW soon.
A few quick Tuesday notes
I mentioned Kuony Deng the other day in my linebacker update. Don't sleep on him as a member of this 2019 class. I think the A&M staff would like to see him play a little bit more, but I've gotten word from a JUCO source that the Ags are really interested here. He's new to football so there's a lot of untapped potential in that body. A&M likes him in that rover role from what I know. I hinted at a new addition soon, and I still think that there will be some movement in the next 7-10 days. I think Texas will be a legitimate threat to land Clear Creek OL Chad Lindberg in 2020. A&M is still in that top group with the Longhorns. Stanford is in play here, as well. If A&M is able to corral him as their 5th guy in 2020, it'd be one of their best hauls in some time. The 2020 class has a lot of really good players along the OL. Speaking of top players, Jason and I re-did our rankings, and we'll have a full update soon, but the depth on the OL in 202 and 2021 is pretty astounding. An argument could be made that the top 4-5 players in 2021 are all OL. Between the two classes, I'd be will to say that there's about 20 legitimate high end, P5 players. A&M hosting first mini camp this weekend
The first camp of the Jimbo Fisher era will take place this Saturday in College Station. They are calling this one a mini camp, and it will last from 9 am to about 1 pm.
