Recruit Reaction: A&M/Alabama
Brauninger and I will be posting quotes as we get them from recruits who were at the game."Their defense played well holding bama to 27. The offense is coming up. Really hype loud crowd as usual" - Southlake Carroll 2020 DB RJ Mickens "That was a great game. Both teams did a lot of good things. That atmosphere though...wow. It gave me goosebumps just being in the stadium. I had a good time, but I'm still all in with Florida." - 2019 Katy Taylor OL Andrew Coker "Amazing, all love. They played the best team in country really close. I was impressed and proud." - Richland LB and Texas A&M commit DaShaun White "The game was crazy. I am so excited for my turn to be under those lights. The atmosphere was insane. Everyone was so into the game. I love it. My favorite moment was probably the block punt safety. The whole stadium lit up. It was crazy." - OL commit Colten Blanton "I loved how the fire never never died in them, even when facing Alabama. I was excited to watch them warm up and have the coaches ask me how my day was on the sidelines. "The offer is thrilling because I am truly blessed to receive an offer from a school I've always admired." - Houston Christian 2021 OL Donovan Jackson "I thought I was cool how the crowd was into the game, and I like that the team kept fighting even though they lost." - West Mesquite 2019 WR Dylan Wright "I loved Aggieland! I can't wait to come back soon!! The crowd is crazy! My dream school for sure." Midlothian 2020 LB Tanner Newman "The game was really good I really enjoy the game it was a great experience." West Mesquite 2018 DE/RB and La Tech commit DJ Jackson "I thought it was a tough loss, but I know the Aggies will bounce back. The stadium is beautiful, and the fans are amazing. I would definitely say A&M helped their chances today." - 2019 Katy Taylor DE Braedon Mowry "It was a very great experience because it was my first time watching a game in Aggieland, and watching Alabama play, I feel that A&M Defense can be really really good. They have some ball players, and I'll be watching and looking out for them the remainder of year." - West Mesquite LB/DB and UCLA commit Dayven Coleman "I've never seen fans like that. Never. This was my first experience of Kyle Field at night. It's making me think about stuff." - 2019 St Pius WR Jalen Curry (Florida St)"My thoughts towards the game was its was a good game and i really enjoyed myself today." - South Oak Cliff 2021 ATH Markevius Titus "I had a great time at the game crazy to see how loud the fans are!" - Mesquite Poteet 2021 TE Kameron Allen "The trip was really fun, but the game and the environment and the crowed was really intense and that was awesome. I really enjoyed myself." - Mesquite Horn 2021 LB/RB Kendrick Blackshire "The atmosphere was great. I love the crowd, and it was a great experience to be there. The coaches were very energetic and that made the whole team great." - Cedar Hill 2020 OL Courtland Ford "Texas A&M the crowed was louder than last week lol. I like their effort. No one would think a team with a bunch of freshmen can beat Alabama. Youu can't blame them, their effort was great, and Saban's defense was great. Also A&M should've kept throwing because you can't run on Bama's defense I don't care who you are."And also I can help big time in the secondary for both teams I can play nickel, free safety, rover, or corner." - New Caney 2020 CB Dwight McGlothern "Man, the atmosphere was crazy good , and the fans were electric. I had a blast. I still love the program. I think they played hard." - DeKaney 2019 CB Marcus Banks "I had a great time down here, I always do. A&M's defense played well enough to win, but their offense just has to score and eliminate turnovers. They have a lot of young players and are getting better. Their gonna be a team to look out for." - Colleyville Heritage 2019 WR and UCLA commit Kameron Brown "It was a good game all four quarters the defense really impressed. I tweeted about the crowd, the atmosphere is beyond amazing. I love everything about it. The coaches are real good at what they do. A&M plays a lot of man and that's what I like to do." - Alvin 2019 CB Marques Caldwell https://twitter.com/cmarquesssss/status/916924238124208128"I thought the game was intense. The Aggies kept battling. The atmosphere was really awesome. I love the chants. Overall, everyone was real friendly, and I had a great time." - Richmond Foster 2021 OL and B-ball standout Reuben Fatheree"It was a great experience. Totally excited about how they are building with all of the guys." - Allen 2019 OL EJ Ndoma-Ogar "Texas A&M was a blast! The home games there are crazy and wild. You can feel it even when your not on the field." - Midlothian Heritage 2020 WR Jay Wilkerson

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
