A bit of a smaller group compared to recent home games. An 11 am kick coupled with a big ACT testing day will do that. A few notes from some visiting recruits
Bergen Catholic (NJ) 2021 DT Tywone Malone took his first visit to Texas A&M with 2020 teammate Jordan Morant. He said, "it was a great first visit. What really caught my attention was how well the coaches take care of the players and how they get on players for school work and stuff." The atmosphere at Kyle Field caught his attention as well. He spent a lot of time around Aaron Hansford while he as in town. It's still early in his recruiting so he didn't have much to say about favorites but he did enjoy his trip. He visited Olsen and is also looking at playing baseball on the college level. We'll have more from Malone later and we're working on getting info on Morant's visitCedar Hill Trinity Christian 2021 OL Elijah Bowser and he really enjoyed himself. The atmosphere and the way the staff treated him both stood out. I was told "He's ready to go back."He was able to meet up with teammate and 2021 QB Shedeur Sanders while in town. The Aggies haven't really been recruiting Sanders but the standout QB wanted to check out the atmosphere to get a feel of College Station and the program and I was told he liked it a lot.

He did some drills on Wednesday and was very impressive. There was quite a bit of Arkansas momentum coming off his OV, but it is safe to say his Aggie stock is as high as ever. Based on intel we have Broughton is one of three in-state DL targets along with Alfred Collins and Princely Umanmielen. The Aggies will receive his final official visit. -DeSoto 2021 DE Shemar Turner put the Aggies in his top three after receiving his offer. He's still taking his time with the process, but the Aggies made a big impression.-Kenneth Phillips called the Aggies a dream school after receiving his offer and I have to say it looks very promising for the Aggies. He will return soon for an official visit. He is close friends with Texas A&M signee Erick Young as well was a teammate with Pro Process Academy and Fort Bend Bush.-New Caney 2021 LB Derrick Harris said Texas A&M was a school "I always wanted to go to since I was little." after receiving his offer.-Demond Demas is locked in, and he was doing some recruiting. The same with Jaylon Jones and I'm sure Bankhead was as well. After camp on Thursday Demas spent a lot time time playing catch with Quinn Ewers which I thought was a promising note. A few notes from Cedar Hill Trinity Christian
-2020 DB Dwight McGlothern had a solid game. He matched up quite a bit with All Saints 2020 slot WR Monterren Parks and he did a good job of keeping him under wraps. McGlothern has the ability to play either safety or cornerback. I love his range and length at free safety. His one-on-one cover skills are also very strong. On the night, he also played receiver and was back on some punt and kickoff returns. We have an interview coming and I think you will like it. He is extremely high on the Aggies right now. -Get ready to hear the name Brandon Buckhaulter. The Trinity Chrisitian 2021 WR is originally from Brandon (MS), and he arrived in Texas already holding a Mississippi State offer. He is a big, physical WR, and he was Sanders go to guy especially when he threw downfield. -2019 S Lewis Cine is the real deal. Someone is going to get a good one. He is looking at Georgia, Michigan, Texas, Florida, and Penn State. Texas A&M was never involved due to holding commitments of Demani Richardson and Brian Williams. -I don't know why De'Marvin Hartfield is not hearing from more colleges. He's 6-1, 230 and he plays RB and LB for Trinity Christian. He is an absolute bruiser at RB and I could see him being a FB/H-back kind of prospect. This guy can play at the FBS level IMO, maybe not at Texas A&M, but he can play somewhere.-RB Qualan Jones had a big game. Once he gets downhill he is a load for defenders. He has a powerful lower body and runs behind his shoulder pads. Baylor got a good one, with a quick initial burst. He also got behind the defense and had a big TD reception. -Trinity Christian brings the beef in the trenches with two 2021s to watch in DT Marquette Seaton (6-3, 300) and DL/OL Elijah Bowser (6-4, 320). I could see Bowser being a true nose on defense or an OG on offense. Seaton plays with an edge and I see him drawing FBS looks at DT.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

99-100: Elite national prospect (Five-star)

Considered one of the best prospects in the nation and a likely difference-maker at the collegiate level. Displays all of the physical skills to be a future All-American with potential to be an early-round NFL draft pick.

90-98: Elite state prospect (Four-star)

Considered one of the best 30-40 prospects in the state and a top 250 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to be a major early contributor at the collegiate level with high professional potential.

80-89: Quality prospect (Three-star)

Considered one of the best 100 prospects in the state and a top 500 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to develop into a contributor over the course of his college career. Has the ability to become a professional prospect over time with development.

70-79: Solid prospect (Two-star)

Considered one of the top 250 prospects in the state. Has the physical skills to be a potential contributor at a D-1 program over the course of his collegiate career with significant development. Professional potential is low.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
