Visitor list - Dec 15-17 Weekend (2 PM Saturday Update)
I know we are getting this out a little late, but it's been a tad busy. Anyway, here's what we've got in terms of guys headed to town, with the possibility of a guy or two being added/subtracted.Ft Bend Marshall OL Barton Clement*Richland LB DaShaun White*Arizona Western DT Mohamed Diallo Boling ATH Vernon Jackson Hutchinson CC DT Tayland Humphrey - maybe (See Looch's note in other thread)Yoakum WR Joshua Moore - maybeYoakum DB Jordan Moore* - maybeLewisville Hebron QB Clayton Tune ***2:50 update***Spoke to a source close to Leon for a while and was told Leon will not be heading to College Station this weekend. I still think he'll be back in mid January, perhaps the same weekend the Manvel guys take their officials. We're also hearing Bobby Brown* is trying to get to College Station this weekend for an unofficial visit***Saturday AM Update***Hebron QB Clayton Tune is in town today***Saturday 2 PM Update***Bobby Brown is on his way to College Station as I typeLike I said, be on the lookout for adds/takeaways.

Miscellaneous Wednesday recruiting notes
-Spoke to a source today that talked with Hutchinson CC DT Tayland Humphrey , and it sounds like the big man is still set on playing college ball with his brother. Humphrey has his eyes set on a few CUSA and AAC schools. As of now, it sounds like he and the Ags have parted ways. -That being that, I continue to hear the main targets at DT currently are Dominic Livingston and Katy's Moro Ojomo who is still being evaluated. I had a tertiary source tell me today that they believe Livingston comes back into the fold which matches everything else our staff has heard. -In case you missed it, Jason spoke with Cordova (TN) OL Jerome Carvin today who confirmed his visit intentions in Aggieland this weekend. I expect an offer to go out here.-A&M commit Leon O'Neal is set to visit Oklahoma this weekend. There was some thought that he would cancel or move the trip with Isaac Taylor-Stuart coming to A&M this weekend, but as of today, the trip to Norman still stands. Members of the Aggie staff will head to Cypress Thursday to see Leon play in person. He also tweeted this late last night...https://twitter.com/wakeemup9/status/923048151677882368-Like I said earlier this week, there was some schedule adjustments for the coaches last week. Remember, as a staff, you only get so many in-person evals during a season. The Aggie staff has to be wise about when/where they use them as that number dwindles. It sounds like Jimmy T is making his OL rounds this week to check in on commits. -Along with Carvin, I think there's a good chance you'll see some more offers go out at the end of this week - most likely to 2019 evals and perhaps a 2020 top rated target or two.

Analyzing the Livingston decommitment
Aldine Davis DT and long time Aggie commit Dominic Livingston backed away from his pledge to the Aggies this afternoon. This is a move that comes completely out of left field and caught a number of people off guard. Dom isn't much of a talker at all, but every time we spoke with him, he seemed confident and sturdy in his decision. He did recently receive an offer from LSU, and there are some other programs sniffing around as well. As of today, it sounds like A&M will continue to recruit him. However, the Ags must start to look elsewhere to fill the void at DT. Obviously, Arlington Lamar's Bobby Brown remains the prize, but he doesn't really fit the same mold as Livingston. Dom is a true space-eating DT. To me, I think the likely move you'll see is the Aggies re-engage Hutchison CC giant Tayland Humphrey to the point of getting him back on campus. I also believe this move pushes Katy DT Moro Ojomo up the line even more. I'll have more updates as I get them, but this setback and its solution are something the Aggie staff will have to quantify this week and moving forward.-Spoke to a source very near Dominic..."Dominic and (Head) Coach (James) Showers still both feel that A&M is the best fit for him. He and his family want to make sure he made the right choice since he committed so early. They want him to take visits, and Dom is the type of kid that would feel really guilty if he took visits while committed to A&M. Therefore, he decided to open it up to take his visits."

Tuesday evening recruiting quick hitters
-Be on the lookout for a very short list of top schools for Boling ATH Vernon Jackson. This is shaping up to be a two team battle between the Aggies and Crimson Tide for the versatile, jumbo playmaker.-Both Billy and I have received good intel indicating the Aggies are making up serious ground with dynamic slot WR Jaylen Waddle out of Bellaire Episcopal. I had some of the kids on campus tell me that Waddle's visit to the BBQ couldn't have gone any better. Encouraging news from the best player in the state with the ball in his hands. A&M is selling him on becoming the next Christian Kirk, and for now, it seems to be working a bit. -I was told by a reliable source yesterday that 2019 Nolan Catholic LB Nana Osafo-Mensah has things narrowed down early on with his eyes on both A&M and Stanford. He spent a lot of time with Max Wright while on campus last weekend.-Some more info on Terrace Marshall...in talking to some secondary sources, it sounds like Marshall has questions about LSU's brand of offensive football. Remember, former Tiger QB Brandon Harris is also an alum of Parkway HS in Bossier City. Could his up and down tenure at LSU be working against the Bayou Bengals with Marshall? It's certainly possible. -I expect to see some familiar names go off the board soon: Tayland Humphrey to Oklahoma St, Al'vonte Woodard to Texas, and Brennan Eagles to Texas.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
