Coach Price was in Dallas tonight checking in on a couple of key targets. He stopped by DaShaun White's basketball game and saw his 2017 basketball debut. The visit went well and White is looking forward to getting to A&M this weekend for his official visit. Price also stopped in to see Bobby Brown, and the visit was descrIbed as exemplary and a pleasure. Texas is scheduled to stop by on Thursday.Another coach will be in Dallas tomorrow. OL coach Jim Turner plans to stop by Bishop Dunne to see 2019 OL Chans Jones who was offered by Syracuse today.

TexAgs Spring Tour: Dallas Bishop Dunne
This afternoon I stopped through Bishop Dunne for the first day of spring ball. Of course seeing big Calvin Avery was a top priority, as was catching a look at 2019 S Brian WilliamsLet's start with Mr. Avery. He is considered one of the top DTs in the state and a top 20 talent and he did not disappoint. https://twitter.com/Jason_Howell/status/859167609882910720https://twitter.com/Jason_Howell/status/859166717620219905https://twitter.com/Jason_Howell/status/859185098494750720On the recruiting front, he picked up an offer from Purdue today and an offer from Washington last week. As for the Aggies, it looks like Texas A&M has put itself among his favorites. He said the Aggies were in his top five, and he did not name any others he considered among his top five. (I would watch out for Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Texas though) But why are the Aggies in his top five? Here's what he had to say on that subject."Really the coaching staff. I enjoy the coaching staff. I enjoyed the atmosphere. When I first went up there they made me feel like I was at home. They didn't treat me any different. I've actually enjoyed myself every time I've gone up there."He does not have any visit plans scheduled for A&M, but do not be surprised if he makes it down to College Station. He also did not give a timeline on when to expect his full top 5 list.Coach David Turner and coach Moorehead have done a great job of developing this relationship. We'll have more from Avery later. As for Brian Williams, I was not able to catch up with the 2019 S; however, from what I've heard he is keeping an open mind right now. That said, I have heard some back room rumblings to watch the in-state options, and this could very well end up a Texas A&M/Texas in-state recruiting battle. On the field today, he was fun to watch. He picked off the first pass in team drills and the trash talk between him and Beason is pretty funny. Those two went back and forth throughout the day. Texas A&M has also extended an offer to WR/ATH Marquez Beason, who recently committed to Nebraska. He is one of the more talkative guys on the field and he backs it up with his play. He got some reps in at QB as WRs were running routes just so he could show the touch he could put on the ball. Everything was good natured and was as quick as his footwork. Here's a quick taste of what he did todayhttps://twitter.com/Jason_Howell/status/859174087041720321https://twitter.com/Jason_Howell/status/859179279782989826Here's a few guys to keep an eye on down the road at Dunne2020 WR Zariah Beason - cousin of Marquez Beason, softer spoken, but he has a solid build and big hands2020 LB Brennon Scott - big LB, Dunne's coaches are high on him and he has a very nice frame2019 OL Chans Jones - shorter OG type, but he's a mauler and already holds an offer from UCF2020 ATH Pearson Hendrix - younger brother of Peyton Hendrix, Arkansas has shown interest

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
