My Three Things
*You guys want to know when the next commitment happens? I think it happens this weekend. The Aggies have been in good shape with East St. Louis (IL) S Antonio Johnson and he plans to announce his choice on Saturday. I like the Aggies chances.*Other guys I have my eye on - these are guys on my own personal commit watch list-RB Daniyel Ngata, Folsom (CA) - has OVs to Arizona State and Oklahoma State the next two weekends, and he wants to visit A&M again-OL Chris Morris, West Memphis (AR) - A&M has been high on his list for a long time and he takes his OV for the Alabama game-OL Trey Zuhn, Fort Collins (CO) Fossil Ridge - strong ties to College Station and Texas A&M and he is visiting this weekend.*Quick Thoughts and/or Predictions-When it is all said and done Texas A&M and Texas finish right around the same spot nationally in the 2020 national recruiting rankings-There is definitely a scenario where EJ Smith, Devon Achane, and Daniyel Ngata all end up at Texas A&M.-I do not think Malik Hornsby will be in Texas A&M's class-I don't know where I would predict Arik Gilbert, but right now I lean towards Clemson or Alabama-The Alabama weekend will be the biggest recruiting weekend of the football season. That visitor list is insane and I'm sure we will see more added to it.-Based on what I have seen and heard it sounds like Troy Omeire is primed to make a move up during the next round of rankings. He has trimmed down and it looks like he is back to 100-percent and he is making highlight reel plays.- Texas A&M 2022 offer Emeka Megwa is making it look too easy. Look at the highlights and it's easy to see how he's averaging over 10 ypc

High School Football Thread - Week 3
It's time for some high school football. I'm back out at Guyer to watch Texas A&M 2021 commit Eli Stowers and the Wildcats take on North Crowley. Brauny will be watching the Longview/Tyler John Tyler game on ESPN 2 and if this game gets out of hand I'll probably take some time to watch it myself. It should be a good one with Texas A&M 2020 QB commit Haynes King on one side and Texas 2020 CB commit Kitan Crawford on the other side.Tomorrow I'll be in Wylie to get a look at ATH EJ Smith as Jesuit takes on Wylie. Brauny will be in Fairfield as they take on Athens and OL Garrett Hayes.Hop will be somewhere I think I just don't know where. And of course I know you guys will be out at games all over the state and we always appreciate the updates. Lets get started on week 3.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

99-100: Elite national prospect (Five-star)

Considered one of the best prospects in the nation and a likely difference-maker at the collegiate level. Displays all of the physical skills to be a future All-American with potential to be an early-round NFL draft pick.

90-98: Elite state prospect (Four-star)

Considered one of the best 30-40 prospects in the state and a top 250 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to be a major early contributor at the collegiate level with high professional potential.

80-89: Quality prospect (Three-star)

Considered one of the best 100 prospects in the state and a top 500 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to develop into a contributor over the course of his college career. Has the ability to become a professional prospect over time with development.

70-79: Solid prospect (Two-star)

Considered one of the top 250 prospects in the state. Has the physical skills to be a potential contributor at a D-1 program over the course of his collegiate career with significant development. Professional potential is low.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
