VYPE Houston Photo Shoot Recap
It was pretty crazy and we will have some more in depth stories coming throughout the week, but there were plenty of nuggets. Braun will add his to the thread soon.Let's jump right in with a big 2017 target. Richmond Foster WR CeeDee Lamb will be visiting several big schools and soon. He plans to visit LSU, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, and UCLA. He also plans to be in College Station on June 11 for the BBQA&M has a lot to offer and he sees it."I like what I'm hearing from them honestly, because it's the SEC, I could play as a true freshman in a spread offense which is a dream come true for a receiver."He didn't name a favorite but LSU is definitely still high on his list and I would say everyone continues to play catch up to the Tigers.*********Galena Park North Shore 2017 DE K'Lavon Chaisson was not tipping his hand much. He didn't tell me any specific camps he plans to attend or name any schools he plans to visit. He did admit he has a list of top schools and he plans to announce it here in the next few weeks as the school year comes to a close. He would not say if A&M was going to make the cut or not. He said he is just laying low right now. The Baylor situation did shake some things up for him.******Stafford 2017 WR Hezekiah Jones recently reopened his recruiting process and he is taking things "one step at at time" right now. He plans to take some visits. Notre Dame and Alabama have both been coming on strong, and Texas A&M has not been sitting back. The Aggies were the first ones to recruit him and he said they would be in the race. He talked to Texas A&M today and he is looking at possibly attending the June 11 BBQ in College Station. We'll have to see on that one. He will visit Oregon June 13. *********Spring Westfield 2018 DT Keondre Coburn is not naming any leaders but it is safe to say he is high on the Aggies."They're way up top just to tell you that right now," Coburn said. "They're way up top. I really like A&M."He has Oklahoma this weekend, he will be at Texas A&M on June 11 for the BBQ, and he is looking at visiting Florida, Florida State, and Miami around June 17. Texas A&M is the only in-state visit on the schedule right now, and he has already established a good relationship with coach David Turner.*****Angleton 2018 DB Billy 'BJ' Foster said he would probably visit TCU, Baylor, and Texas A&M this summer. The Aggies are recruiting him hard with coach Terry Joseph leading the Aggies' recruiting efforts. He did not have a specific date in mind for his trip to College Station. He's just taking his time with the recruiting process right now.*******Cy Ranch 2018 offensive tackle Colten Blanton seems to have cooled on the Aggies. He plans to go on visits to Ole Miss, Auburn, and Alabama. As for in-state visits he is planning to go to TCU and maybe Texas A&M this summer. He is keeping in touch with coach Turner and he described him as "an amazing guy, he's a great coach." When asked about leaders he said he really liked OU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Ohio State, and TCU. When asked what he liked about those programs he said, "I like what they do as a program. It's not just about success. I mean all of them have success, but it's what the coaching staff does."*********Aldine Davis 2018 DT Dominic Livingston is the most recent 2018 offer and the Aggies are high on his list."I mean it's just a school I've wanted to go to ever since I was little," Livingston said.He will attend camp in College Station on Monday.Kansas State has also offered and SMU, LSU, and Texas are showing interest.*********A few more notesFort Bend Hightower 2018 ATH Hasaan Hypolite mentioned the Aggies in his camp plans along with Houston, LSU, and then several satellite camps. He is being recruited on both sides of the ballHouston Lamar 2018 WR Al'vonte Woodard plans to camp at Texas A&M July 24 and he also mentioned TCU and Baylor camps. His teammate Anthony Cook told us late last week he also plan to camp at Texas A&M.Cy Ranch 2017 LB Amaud Willis-Dalton is discussing his camp plans with his family. When it comes to Texas A&M he is looking at the Aggie's June 4 camp.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
