Changing Course: Texas A&M's 2017 recruiting efforts at LB and OL
With two decommitments at the LB and OL spots over the past week, the Texas A&M staff may need to look to new faces to fill out the 2017 recruiting class. TexAgs recruiting analyst Jason Howell has composed a list of the most likely candidates, complete with highlights.
OL visitor today
FB Travis OL Will Farrar will visit A&M today. He recently decommitted from UCLA and is looking to add an offer from the Aggies.
Interesting OL news
For those of you that don't follow recruiting closely, you may have missed it late last night when Ft Bend Travis OL Will Farrar announced his decommitment from UCLA via Twitter. While Farrar doesn't hold an A&M offer, he has been in heavy contact with the Aggies and even visited College Station late last week. It could be a coincidence, but the timing is noteworthy...especially after visiting Los Angeles this past weekend. Also, last week I noted the Ags could be on "YESSIR" alert for 2018 Ft Bend Marshall OL Barton Clement who was in town for the Spring Game. I have talked to more than one source that still feel like Barton could end up pulling the trigger sooner rather than later. While nothing is the gospel in recruiting, it is something to keep an eye on.
