The Dead Period has ended so that means visitors on campus. It has not been the busiest week with spring break just a week away, but there have been a few visitors through the doors.The headliner of the week was cornerback commit Raylaun Henry returning to College Station for a little Monday-Tuesday visit. It was his first trip back to College Station since committing in November. He originally planned to return in January until weather cancelled the trip, and he was happy to be back in town.He plans to return again at the end of March for spring practice, and he will not be alone. He will be joined by friend and St. Frances Academy 2028 CB Dwayle Smith who was offered by the Aggies in June. Henry also he already has his official visit scheduled for the weekend of June 12. Of course the big news of the night is John Meredith III announcing his official visits. The Aggies have been very strong contender throughout his recruitment and a visit being scheduled does not surprise. A spring unofficial is another thing to watch for. Joining Texas A&M on his visit schedule are Alabama (May 29-31), Texas (June 5-7), and Ohio State (June 19-21) which also tracks based on what we have seen and heard surrounding his recruitment.I continue to like the momentum the Aggies have at the moment, but there's still a lot of time and work to do before I expect him to make any final decisions.We also confirmed visits from standout EDG and LSU commit Jaiden Bryant and standout CA safety Gavin Williams. Williams also confirmed plans to take an unofficial visit to College Station April 3-5. IMG Academy OL Maxx Jones who was offered following his freshman season at Lewisville (TX) also confirmed plans for an April 2 unofficial visit. In addition to his trip to Texas A&M he also has visit plans for LSU, SMU, Texas, Florida, Miami, and MichiganIt was mentioned in Around the SEC in the New Name to Know section, but recent 2028 TE offer Breck Brady of Bethany (OK) is working to schedule a spring unofficial to College Station along with trips to Tennessee and Notre Dame.The Aggies have also been busy extending offers and today they put one on the table to a familiar name with Defensive line coach Elijah Robinson offering Oxford (MS) 2028 DL Andrae Maddox . Maddox was originally offered by the Aggies under the Jimbo Fisher as a seventh grader. He was under 6-foot and 200 pounds and now he is listed at 6-5, 280. The younger brother of one time QB commit AJ Maddox and former DL target Andrew Maddox, he and his family have some familiar ties to Aggieland. Both of his older brothers are currently at Ole Miss. His father Anthony was also a standout defensive lineman who played in the NFL.
