I mentioned it the other day in the Ismael Camara thread, but the Aggies are trending well there. Of course, there is plenty of competition, but I continue to hear Mike Elko and the staff are doing a great job developing that relationship and Texas A&M as a whole is a very appealing opportunity. I don't have any timetables on his plans to trim his list or any of that, but I look for the Aggies to be a strong player when it does come down to decision making time.Staying on the offensive line, Dallas South Oak Cliff OL Brian Swanson continues to talk highly about the Texas A&M program. That one is a bit closer, but the Aggies have been squarely in the middle of it. Texas and Oklahoma along with the Aggies are three programs I continue to hear a strong buzz about on that front.On the defensive side, the Aggies have been involved with Hattiesburg (MS) 2027 DT Deven Robertson for a few years now, but as he nears his decision I am hearing he and the Aggies are moving in different directions. He has visited and camped, and in November he announced a top 10 and his plans to announce his commitment on January 10 at the Navy Bowl in San Antonio on January 10. The Aggies made his top 10, but right now I expect that decision to be somewhere other than Texas A&M. D-line recruiting in 2027 is already off to a fast start with two DT commits in Elijah Patmon and Myels Smith so those spots are already filling up quickly.Speaking of DLs, Myels Smith's 2025 season stat line is downright absurd. 91 tackles, 30 TFLs, 10 sacks, and 11 QB hurries is wild for an interior lineman and the tape is so fun to watch.Now for some skill guys. Argyle (TX) 2027 wide receiver Julian Caldwell named the Aggies to his top 12 in late November, and he had some good things to say about the program the other day when I caught up with him. However, I was also able to talk to a few other sources and right now it is clear Texas Tech is coming on strong and it is also pretty clear he really likes the Red Raider program. I know many will point to Tech's NIL fund, but his affinity for the program goes a bit deeper than that. He has some strong family ties to the program so there is a lot of familiarity there, and he has a strong relationship with the coaches. The Red Raiders success on the field also helps quite a bit. Oregon and Texas also appear to be positioning themselves well there right now, and in January his only visit plans are currently stops at Tech and Oregon.And while we are talking about visits, January is shaping up to be a busy month on the 2027/underclassmen recruiting front. Quite a few prospects have already mentioned Texas A&M visit plans. Recently DL Myels Smith mentioned he plans to visit Aggieland for Junior Day, and cornerback John Meredith III also mentioned a future trip to Texas A&M. Offensive lineman Kaeden Scott has specifically mentioned January 17, and it looks like the Aggies could welcome a few visitors that day for Junior Day/Top prospect visit day. January 24 is another date to watch.

Earlier this week, 2027 Hattiesburg (MS) Oak Grove defensive tackle Deven Robertson released a top 10 list, and as he nears his Jan. 10 commitment date, the Aggies made the cut. Robertson is 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds, and he visited College Station for Texas A&M's "Operation Blackout" game.
