On Friday at Eagle Stadium, the Allen Eagles topped the Lewisville Farmers 17-3 in a physical playoff matchup. Defense and special teams played a big role in the contest, with both teams coming through in clutch moments, but Allen was able to pull away in the end.

DFW Recruiting Notes
Texas A&M has been very active in DFW and March 30 looks like a busy weekend with Mesquite Horn standout OL Lamont Rogers, Lewisville OL Michael Fasusi, and Denton Guyer DL Xavier Ukponu all planning to be College Station that day.In the 2026 class Prosper (TX) OL Zaden Krempin tells me he will return to College Station for an April 6 visit. I spoke to a few sources on Fasusi and the Aggies continue to do great work there. Elko and Cushing continue to make a strong impression and as noted by his visit he continues to take a long look at the Aggies. When it comes to leaders I do not know if he is ready to declare anything just yet, but I expect Oklahoma and Texas are going to be prime competitors. He likes the idea of playing in the SEC, his relationship with the coaches is a big thing for him, and I am told the ability to compete for a championship is also something high on his priority list. Missouri really impressed him on his visit before the dead period and Oregon is another school he has shown a lot of interest. Fasusi went home sick yesterday, so I missed him when I dropped by the school, but I was able to see quite a few top prospects. If you are looking for potential Texas A&M targets, CB Dylan Davis (6-0, 170) and DL Xavier Fleming (6-1, 270) are a couple of 2026s who could end up on Texas A&M's radar. Davis got a lot of great reps and has the tools that could see him grow and develop into a top tier prospect over time. Fleming was named district Defensive Newcomer of the Year last year. He tallied 51 tackles as an interior DL and he also plays for the Lewisville basketball team.It is the class of 2027 though which has people around the program buzzing. There is a lot of young talent and several are already picking up scholarship offers. ATH Derrick Martin (5-9, 165) plays RB, WR, CB, and as a return man. He already holds offers from Ole Miss, Colorado State, and UNT. QB Tre Williams (6-0, 185) holds offers from Arizona St, Coloado St, Texas St, and UNLV. ATH Aiden Evans (5-11, 165) is making a name for himself as an electric athlete who makes plays at WR and DB. He currently holds offers from Colorado St and UNTWR Landon Bogany (6-2, 193) is a big physical receiver and he recently received his first offer from UNT. WR Deontae Weathers (6-0, 160) and ATH Devin Robinson (5-10, 160) are a couple more in the 2027 class to watch.Lancaster (TX) wide receiver Emmanuel Choice is one guy we have not talked much about, but he is a guy to put on your radar. He checks in at 6-5, 200 and he is one long, fluid athlete at WR. His quick feet and ability to get in and out of his breaks is unique for a guy that size. He quickly tracks the ball and adjusts his body and his long arms give him a big catch radius. The Aggies offered in December and area recruiter Tony Jerod-Eddie and wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins have been leading the Aggies efforts. Oklahoma was one of the first on him and right now I'd give the Sooners the edge. TCU is also coming on strong, and he also visited Texas before the dead period. He has been in regular contact with the Aggies since receiving the offer and it looks like the prospects are promising of him making his first Aggieland visit this spring.
