2026 OL Kole Seaton impressed by Kyle Field's environment
Mesquite (TX) Horn 2026 OL Kole Seaton quickly catches attention at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, and he is just beginning to scratch the surface. On Saturday, he experienced game day in College Station for the first time, and the Aggies made a strong impression as his recruitment begins.

A top OL looking to visit, and more notes
Mesquite Horn 2025 OL Lamont Rogers has already made a name for himself as one of the nation's top up and coming prospects. He checks in at No. 11 in the TexAgs 2025 Texas Top 100, and scholarships have arrived from across the country. Friday night, he was taking the fight to Arlington. A few times he got caught off balance being too aggressive, but his footwork and flexibility are top notch. He packs a powerful punch and I look for that only to improve as he continues to build upper body strength. Texas A&M offered in May, but he has not communicated much with the Aggies since then. However, as I said last night in the Texas High School Thread, he would like to visit to experience the atmosphere and learn more about the program. He also likes how the Aggies have developed OLs over the years Right now, he has visits planned to USC and Tennessee, and he attended Oklahoma's contest against SMU. Last night he wore the OU gloves and he stated the Sooners are a top program in his mind. "I like how coach Bedenbaugh gets his players ready and he motivates them to strive for greatness," Rogers said. LSU is another school he said he would like to visit, and he has been keeping in touch with OL coach Brad Davis. "I like how he acts. He's a cool coach. He believes in God and that brings his character out," Rogers said. "I just want to see the players and how it is on campus and how it is going to LSU." He is keeping an open mind to the process but he mentioned possibly making a commitment at the end of the season. Personally, I think he is more likely to see things go into next spring because he genuinely seemed open to his possibilities and taking more visits. However, I do think schools like Oklahoma, LSU, USC, and Tennessee have done a great job so far making a very strong impression. ***********OL Kole Seaton already has Mesquite Horn's staff buzzing. The 2026 standout checks in at 6-5, 250 and he has a big frame and his athleticism has caught their attention. He did not play a ton last night, but his potential already has people talking. He also has a tie to Texas A&M. His father Ralph Seaton We'll see how he grows and develops but they think really highly of him out there. He also has some Texas A&M ties through his father Ralph Seaton. **********Horn has a few 2026 prospects already picking up college offers and both showed some flashes last night. Markel Ford started at S and recorded a couple of fourth quarter INTs to help seal the Jaguars win, while Legend Bey started at QB. Bey is currently more dynamic as a run threat right now, but he does have some nice arm talent and it will be interesting to see how he develops as a passer. Ford is a member of TexAgs 2026 Watch List and I recently highlighted Bey as a new name to know in Around Texas. Both already hold multiple P5 offers.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

99-100: Elite national prospect (Five-star)

Considered one of the best prospects in the nation and a likely difference-maker at the collegiate level. Displays all of the physical skills to be a future All-American with potential to be an early-round NFL draft pick.

90-98: Elite state prospect (Four-star)

Considered one of the best 30-40 prospects in the state and a top 250 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to be a major early contributor at the collegiate level with high professional potential.

80-89: Quality prospect (Three-star)

Considered one of the best 100 prospects in the state and a top 500 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to develop into a contributor over the course of his college career. Has the ability to become a professional prospect over time with development.

70-79: Solid prospect (Two-star)

Considered one of the top 250 prospects in the state. Has the physical skills to be a potential contributor at a D-1 program over the course of his collegiate career with significant development. Professional potential is low.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
